Introduction

The Pyramid 9200 Series RF module and companion loader board provide a low cost high performance telemetry transceiver for OEM applications. Optimized for high speed data transmission, the RF module provides fast attack time, Direct FM modulation, low distortion and group delay receiver with RSSI and carrier detect output. The RF module features a 3ppm TCXO for maximum frequency stability in harsh environments and the receiver has dual crystal filters for greater adjacent channel rejection. The loader module provides PC and modem interface, frequency storage and selection (2 channels) audio processing with high speed and filtered input/output, programmable pre-emphasis/de-emphasis and all necessary DC switching and regulation. Both modules utilize surface mount technology and multi-layer FR4 epoxy circuit boards for high reliability.
